FedCompass ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the FedCompass mobile application and website.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal financial data. All retirement calculations are performed locally on your device. The salary, age, years of service, TSP balance, and other financial information you enter into FedCompass never leaves your device.

2. Email Notifications

If you voluntarily provide your email address through our "Get Notified" form on the website, we collect your email solely to send you a one-time launch notification. We do not sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose. You may request removal of your email at any time by contacting us.

3. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We may use anonymized, aggregated analytics to understand general usage patterns (such as which screens are most visited) and to diagnose crashes. This data does not include any personally identifiable information or financial data.

4. Third-Party Services

FedCompass may use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for app distribution and payment processing
• RevenueCat — for managing in-app purchases (processes purchase receipts only; does not access your financial data entered in the app)
• Netlify — for hosting the website and processing the email notification form

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

5. Data Storage

All data you enter into FedCompass is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not have access to this data. If you delete the app, your locally stored data will be removed.

6. Children's Privacy

FedCompass is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Security

Because your data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers, the security of your financial information is managed by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, encryption, etc.).

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store your personal financial data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. For email notification list removal, contact us at the address below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
